Infrastructure

Full Policy Plan

Every time local elections roll around, some politician tells us they will fix our streets.

But when’s the last time we had someone with the managerial experience to make sure it actually gets done?

The truth is, our streets are still in terrible shape and getting worse.

The same is true of sidewalks, bridges, parks, fire stations, water and sewer lines, and branch libraries in many neighborhoods.  The City can’t ask neighborhoods to accept more density if the City can’t make good on our promise to upgrade infrastructure.

As Mayor, I’ll work with neighborhoods to prioritize city investments, tell taxpayers the truth about how much improvements will cost, and develop solutions that I won’t be afraid to present to voters.

Finally, I will refuse to fill my administration with political operatives.

Instead, I will hire people with the managerial experience it takes to make sure things get done on time and on budget.

We need to make developers pay their fair share - otherwise voters will foot the bill
