The job of Mayor of San Diego carries enormous responsibilities in normal times, but these are NOT normal times.

My priorities as Mayor will be:

1. Public Health and Safety – including addressing the root causes of homelessness and proactive neighborhood policing.

2. Fiscal Responsibility – preserving basic city services despite our declining revenues.

3. Economic Development – attract and retain good-paying jobs and employers that provide the tax base to move our city forward.

4. Transparency – public business must be conducted in public, not behind closed doors.
