As the first elected official to support SDSU West back in July 2017, I am pleased to announce that as of Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020, the sale of the Mission Valley stadium site to San Diego State University is complete, escrow has closed, and construction starts on the SDSU West Project on Monday, Aug. 17!

This historic occasion for the San Diego region is one that will be told to future generations of students, educators, visitors, and San Diegans to come.
