I can't say it enough: this is the only environment we've got, so we need to protect it.

Some politicians seek to exploit climate change for political gain rather than offering realistic and thoughtful solutions.

But I refuse to play politics with our future.

That's why I support effective solutions to the climate crisis including:

• Providing for higher density growth along transit corridors to reduce traffic and greenhouse emissions.
• Expanding recycling programs to reduce our reliance on imported supplies.
• Planting trees throughout our neighborhoods that make an enormous contribution to our environment AND our quality of life.
