"The voters clearly spoke when they passed Measure G they said to the City of San Diego, sell the land that at fair market value to San Diego State which will develop a River Park and a stadium and academic facilities for thousands more students. It has been mired down with high-paid lawyers and consultants since the November 2018 election and the council has basically been cut out of the negotiations. The City Attorney and the mayor could be bringing this to the council so that we could be voting on this transaction, get the deal done! San Diego State plans to build a beautiful Stadium on the site which someday could also house professional soccer, professional football. It's a shame that the bureaucrats and other elected officials are not getting this moved forward."
